Duke Center for Human Genetics

In July, 2013 the Duke Center for Human Genetics merged with the Duke Stedman Center and the translational research laboratories of Drs. William and Virginia Kraus to form the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute. In the fall of 2014, the Institute will be all be housed in the Carmichael Building at 300 North Duke Steet in Durham. Until that time, half of our faculty and labs will be housed in the Carmichael Building and half the Snyderman Genome Sciences Research Building on the Duke University Medical Center campus in Durham, North Carolina.

Our laboratories house the most current equipment available for DNA sequencing and synthesis, mutation analysis, genotyping, and tissue culture. The clinical space includes fully-equipped medical examination and interview rooms.
